The 18th Ministerial Session of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) took place 5-6 June 2013 in the Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation

CBSS Russian Presidency 2012-2013 The Russian Presidency expects to continue the work on modernization and innovation, the development of PPP practices as well as energy cooperation, youth policy, and countering the spread of radicalism and extremism.

Baltic Sea Forum 5-6th April 2013 The Conference of the Heads of the Baltic Sea States (“Baltic Sea Forum”) on environmental protection was held on 5-6 April in St. Petersburg, as part of the Russian CBSS Presidency Programme, but also as a follow-up to the Baltic Sea Action Summit held three years ago in Helsinki.

CBSS & EUSBSR CBSS is an important player contributing to the realization of the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. EUSBSR provides an integrated framework for improving the environmental condition of the region, tackling transport bottlenecks and energy interconnections.

EUSBSR Flagship Project 14.3 14.3 is a Flagship Project under the EUSBSR. The project aims to develop scenarios and identify gaps for all main hazards and the potential of such hazards in the Baltic Sea Region.
