OUR GOAL: Becoming a forerunner region in Sustainable Lifestyles and Green Economies.

Many more steps need to be taken so that future generations won’t be harmed by today’s unsustainable consumption and production patterns. By integrating economic, environmental and social aspects into the overall consumption and production framework we can create better solutions and make a difference.

We target small and medium sized enterprises as important actors for sustainable production and Corporate Social Responsibility. By developing initiatives in these fields, we create both new business opportunities and competitive advantages in a greener economy. We put special emphasis on public authorities, who as large buyers of goods and services are key players in the shift towards sustainable production and consumption. We also specifically target youth groups and organizations to initiate actions aimed at empowering youth and promoting sustainable lifestyles.

OUR ACTIONS:

• Spreading sustainable consumption and production methods and initiating corporate social responsibility in small and medium sized enterprises;
• Sharing knowledge and best practices in green public procurement; and
• Creating environments for youth culture and sustainable lifestyles as well as supporting youth entrepreneurship
