Business Advisory Council
The Business Advisory Council (BAC) is a small and informal body.The BAC representatives are nominated by national business organisations and appointed by member-state governments. The BAC came into being in 1997 with the aim of giving advice to the CBSS governing bodies regarding trade and economy. In the past it has reported to the CBSS Ministerial Sessions as well as the Ministerials for Trade and Economy. The BAC participated in the work of the CBSS Working Group for Economic Cooperation (WGEC) which was formally discontinued at the 15th CBSS Ministerial Session in June 2009 . The BAC now operates as a Strategic Partner.
