On 18 June, the Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström will head a ministerial meeting in Stockholm of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS). The meeting agenda will mainly focus on the future role of Baltic Sea cooperation, common security, rescue services, the battle against human trafficking and support for vulnerable children and young people.
Sweden has held the Presidency of the CBSS over the past year and will hand over the Presidency to Latvia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkēvičs during the meeting.
In connection with the meeting, a joint press conference will be held with participating ministers and other representatives of participating countries.
