8th Round-table Meeting of the Baltic Sea Region Climate Change Dialogue Platform

The 8th Round-table meeting of the Baltic Sea Region Climate Change Dialogue Platform will be held on the 4th of June 2018, in Tallinn, Estonia, back-to-back with the Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).

The National representatives of the Climate Adaptation Focal Points for the EUSBSR, as well as representatives of pan-Baltic organisations and research institutions, make up the participants of the Climate Dialogue Platform. The Round-table will focus on a stocktaking of the implementation thus far of the tasks set out in the Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change in the Baltic Sea Region (BALTADAPT Strategy). The 8th Round-table will also look at climate objectives and the relevance of indicators for the Action Plan of the EUSBSR in order, to improve and boost further action to mainstream climate actions into other policy areas to build climate resilient societies around the Baltic Sea. The Round-table meeting will also facilitate the exchange of best practices gained by EUSBSR Flagship projects under HA Climate by the partners of the projects, targeting the low-carbon economy and adapting to climate change in the BSR.
