Cooperation, culture, education and the environment in focus at the Camp

The general theme of the BSYC is how we can use the strength of young visionaries to contribute to a more sustainable EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). We will mostly focus on topics involving international cooperation, culture, education and environmental aspects. Yet, there will be information on all Policy Areas and Horizonal Actions within the EUSBSR available. As you might know, the BSYC is a format usually organised back‐to‐back with the EUSBSR Annual Forum. The aim is to empower young region‐enthusiasts to develop innovative project ideas and connect them to the EUSBSR. So, where to start better than at the Forum where all region builders meet?

This year the Annual Forum in Turku was postponed from June to October and it is planned to have a physical edition of the BSYC there. However, as the partnership consisting of the CBSS, BSSSCUBCERB and ESN Finland
we would like to invite you to take part in a first meeting during the days initially planned for the BSYC.

Get an insight into Baltic Sea Region Cooperation

During the BSYC online edition talks will be held by renowned personalities from the fields of science, politics, culture and other topical areas to give you an insight to regional cooperation within the Baltic Sea Region.

A central element of the BSYC will be the projects and ideas developed by you ‐ the young people in our region. The BSYC is an opportunity for you to meet and exchange ideas. Jointly we will develop ideas on how the various Policy Areas and Horizontal Actions of the EUSBSR could get more youth involved in their work and inspire young people to get active.

Socialise with young people from the Region

Another highlight of the BSYC will be the socialising events in the evening, there are quizzes, games and other fun activities prepared for you and of course you can also be creative and suggest your own social events.

If you have a project you are already working on or you would like to work on with others that would fit into the framework of the BSYC, we would be super happy to hear from you – please let us know by filling out this form.

A large variety of workshops will be offered as well. Stay tuned to get more information!

Invite your friends!

Bring a buddy! Want to share the fun of the BSYC with some of your friends? Invite your friends to join the BSYC. Please make sure they also fill in the registration form.
